Samantha Galing

Samantha Galing works on policies that reduce the harms associated with highly hazardous pesticides, including paraquat. She brings more than 20 years of experience in advocacy and campaigns, working with consulting firms, labor unions and nonprofit organizations to advance policies that protect workers, consumers and communities.

Before joining EWG, Samantha led and supported strategic advocacy initiatives spanning environmental protection, economic justice, public health and education. Her work has focused on building coalitions, advancing science-based policy solutions, and designing campaigns that translate research into meaningful policy change and action.

Samantha holds a master’s degree in public administration from New York University and lives in Washington, D.C., with her spouse and two rescue dogs.
