Ali Haney
Alexandra “Ali” Haney is a farmer, nonprofit development professional, and advocate for sustainable agriculture. She is the co-owner of Shenandoah Seasonal, a USDA-certified organic family farm in Clear Brook, Virginia, where she and her husband grow produce using practices that prioritize soil health, biodiversity, and ecological balance.
With a background in nonprofit fundraising and development, Ali has led donor engagement and funding initiatives that continue to inform her work on the farm. She has guided efforts to expand direct-to-consumer access, including a growing CSA program, restaurant partnerships, and the development of an on-farm stand.
Ali serves as a board member of the Loudoun Valley Homegrown Markets Cooperative (LVHMC), supporting regional food systems and local farmers through collaborative market initiatives.
She is committed to advancing environmentally responsible agriculture that reduces synthetic inputs, strengthens soil health, and builds more resilient local food systems.
